Profile: The site is located in the center of Linhai New City and programmed as a CBD, facing civic gymnasium, 5-star hotel and high-profile building pads over lakefront landscapes. The existing site needs to gain popularity and vitality, so the design scheme created a “lively CAZ” by reorganizing developable land resources, programs, site capacity and landscapes; and redesigned city arterial roads and lakefronts. Moreover, it transformed a 100m wide greenway of previous plan into a fascinating civic open space.
